Underground is a 1941 war film about the German Nazi Resistance opposing the Nazis in World War II. Jeffrey Lynn and Philip Dorn play two brothers initially on opposite sides.

Underground (The Electric Prunes album)

Underground is the second studio album by the American garage rock band, The Electric Prunes, and was released in 1967 on Reprise Records. It would be the final album of any materialized input by band members until the 1969 "New Improved" Electric Prunes were formed. The album was a moderate chart hit, but, without a hit-ready single, the band could not repeat their past success.

Background

The album, Underground, brought changes to the band once recording began. Limited lyrical input plagued the band's creative process on their debut. Only one track, composed by Mark Tulin and James Lowe, called "Lovin'" was included on their first album. This changed with this album because Dave Hassinger, the group's producer, was not as active in the sessions resulting in nine of the 12 tracks becoming the band's own material. With so much more musical freedom, the band could mold their music into their own image. The final products were a more direct and cohesive set of songs that reflected the band's own design.

Underground (Phil Keaggy album)

Underground is an album by guitarist Phil Keaggy, released in 1983, on Nissi Records. It is a collection of demo tracks recorded by Keaggy in his home studio.

The album was re-released in 2000 on CD by the Phil Keaggy Club, and features a different track order.

Metro (Russian: Метро) is a 2013 Russian action disaster film directed by Anton Megerdichev.

Plot

Because of the copious amounts of large buildings in the center of Moscow, the Moscow subway tunnel, built in 1935, is starting to fail as it cannot withstand the resulting weight. One tunnel night crawler, Sergeitch (Sergey Sosnowski), sees a small leak in the roof of the tunnel (in the place where the tunnel runs under the Moscow River) and informs the assistant station (Michael Fateev), but he says that it is only groundwater and mocks the old man for worrying about it. Meanwhile, Irina Garin (Svetlana Hodchenkova) is torn between her lover - businessman Vlad Konstantinov (Anatoly Bely) - and her husband - a district hospital surgeon Andrei (Sergei Puskepalis) - with their daughter Ksenya (Anfisa Wistinghausen). Konstantinov believes that she is no match for Andrei, and tries to persuade her to divorce him. Arriving from Zagranpoezdki, she spends the night with Konstantinov and doesn't have time to come home in the morning. Andrei has to take his daughter Ksenya to school but by chance, they cannot go by car and walk to the metro station "Garden". Simultaneously, Konstantinov arrives, hurrying to work, but forced to give up the car because of traffic jams. Meanwhile Sergeitch, drinking with casual acquaintance Galina (Elena Panova) next to the "Garden", recalls that the water leaking into the tunnel smelled of slime, which means that it can not be groundwater. They are detained by the police for drinking alcohol in a public place, but manage to escape, and Galina flees into the subway. Sergeitch phones his employers to inform all the dispatchers but police turn a deaf ear to his request.

Rome Metro

The Rome Metro (Italian: Metropolitana di Roma) is an underground public transportation system that operates in Rome, Italy. The network opened in 1955, making it the oldest in the country. The Metro comprises three lines – Line A (orange), Line B (blue) and Line C (green) – which operate on 60.0 kilometres (37.3 mi) of route, serving 73 stations. The original lines in the system, Lines A and B, form an X shape with the lines intersecting at Termini Station, the main train station in Rome. Line B splits at the Bologna station into two branches. While Line C opened in 2014, it is not yet connected to the rest of the Metro network. Plans have also been announced for a fourth line.

Rome's local transport provider, ATAC, operates the Rome Metro and several other rail services: the Roma–Lido line, the Roma-Giardinetti line, and the Roma–Nord line. The first of these, the Roma–Lido, which connects Rome to Ostia, on the sea, is effectively part of the metro network. It is run on similar lines and uses trains similar to those in service on the Metro. The Roma–Giardinetti line, although designated as a railway, is actually a narrow-gauge tram line while the Roma–Nord line is a suburban railway.

Metro (Hungarian band)

Metro was a very famous Hungarian rock band in the 1960s and early 1970s. When the Hungarian government cracked down on rock music that they considered subversive, Metro left the music industry. Band leader Zorán Sztevanovity has pursued an active solo career after his tenure with the band.
